What in the world is that????

It’s a Double-nosed Andean tiger hound!!!!
The Double-nosed Andean tiger hound is a rare breed of hound that has been seen in Bolivia. Many people believe the double nose increases their scent discrimination abilities; however, there is no research to indicate whether the double nose is a benefit or a hindrance.
The "double nose" appears to be a normal dog's nose, but with the nostrils separated by a band of skin and fur dividing the nose all the way to the dog's upper lip.

Many people thinks is a fake and BBC called it rare and misterious only seen through an expedition to xingu.

All lies.

Is common in Trinidad and around, some 400 km NW from Sta. cruz de La Sierra, Bolivia.

Saw a couple of pups in the farmers market in 2002 (not the main market), and was told that are greatly valued as hunting and tracking dogs.

Asking some more, didn't appear to be rare or misterious at all.

Cheers, nice pic btw :D
